Once upon a summer's night in 2014, a twist of fate (and a little peer pressure) sent Lailyne and her roommate on a camping trip to celebrate a birthday - because, of course, she couldn’t possibly stay home alone and miss out on socializing with a bunch of strangers. Little did she know, this trip would introduce her to the birthday boy himself: Cory!

From the very first laugh, they knew they'd be lifelong friends. Cory was instantly entertained by Lailyne’s larger-than-life personality and adventurous spirit, and she was drawn to his witty intelligence and effortlessly friendly, easygoing charm. They quickly became close, bonding over countless adventures, spontaneous trips, and, naturally, a bit of chaos. Eventually, Cory asked Lailyne out on their first official date… at an archery class… with friends in tow. A true romantic at heart, but also just a little quirky.

Over the years, they cheered each other on through big life changes, discovered new hobbies to share (Cory with his music, woodworking, and natural ability to fix anything broken; Lailyne with cooking, baking, and knitting), and spent many hours teaching each other their respective nerdy knowledge of comic books and pop culture references that most people just wouldn’t quite understand. But nothing captured their hearts quite like traveling together. From city streets to far-off adventures, they explored the world hand in hand, culminating in their biggest adventure yet in 2024, when Cory popped "the" question in the vibrant streets of New Orleans.

Individually, they each carry a healthy dose of silliness and mischief. Together, they’re unhinged… but harmless, with only a minimal chance of becoming villains. They plan to keep their laughter, sarcasm, and love for life at full throttle, wandering the world side by side.
